About us

Borough Green Primary School PTA (BGPSPTA) is an enthusiastic group of volunteer parents and staff from across all year groups.  Together we run a range of activities each year to help raise additional funds to improve the learning environment and experience all children at the school.  From cake sales and discos for the children; to quiz nights and pamper evenings for parents; and music festivals and school fairs for the whole family and local community, we hope to offer something that everyone can enjoy.  In addition, other initiatives like our 100 Club and EasyFundraising allow parents and families to join in with almost no effort at all!

The money we raise goes towards a wide range of school projects including the creation of the outdoor classroom, the building of the trim trail and the installation of the school’s electronic gate system.

PTA Thank you... July 2025

We just wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone for supporting our events over the last school year!

We are thrilled to announce that we have raised an incredible £11,456! We could not do this without all your support for the events we put on so thank you very much!

We have been busy spending the money we raise to help to improve the school and the facilities for our children - incredibly , we have actually given and sourced the school £41,150 in donations this year alone!!

Some of the things we have invested in for the school this year are:

• New blinds for the school hall
• New ipads for the whole school to use
• New toilets for Year 5 and 6
• Refresh of the outside classroom - upgrading the drainage and new astroturf
• Items for the forest school including bug, cloud and leaf viewers, and hand tools for the kitchen garden
• Resources for our teachers including new lanyards and walkie talkies

Over the holidays, we are looking forward to seeing the new fence being put up to go around the forest school and the kitchen garden, and we continue to invest in a refresh of the school hall - painting the walls and a new cupboard for all the sports equipment. If anyone is free on Monday 21st July from 10am, we will be taking down all the old equipment in the school hall ready for the decoration and welcome any extra help!
