I hope you have all enjoyed a good rest over the summer and feel ready for the new academic year ahead. Over the next few weeks' I will be getting our wellbeing groups and interventions up and running again and will contact you if your child is invited to attend one.

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that I will now be in school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays so please feel free to contact me if you or your family need any support. I can help with a wide range of things including food bank referrals, Young Carers referrals, wellbeing and mental health concerns.

Usually, the class teacher will be the first person to contact with any concerns that you may have as they know your children the best and have a huge amount of knowledge and experience.  Where extra support is needed, they may then refer you to either Mr Wheatley or myself. However, if you would prefer, I can be contacted directly, by booking an appointment through the office or emailing me at ldechaine@bgpschool.kent.sch.uk.
