School Council
Our School Council
At Borough Green Primary School, every class from Year 1 through to Year 6 have two School Council representatives. We hold regular meetings to discuss ways in which we can improve our school. We also come up with ideas for raising money for charity and for the school and often act as the judging panel for school competitions.
Our School Council Members for 2024/2025 are:
Myrtle - Caleb
Willow - Daniel R
Bay - Autumn & Zach
Poplar - Ayesha
Cherry - Caleb
Maple - Ellie & Ava
Oak - Ryan & Freya
Acacia - Katie & Lucas
The School Council members will regularly meet to discuss the views and ideas of pupils at Borough Green Primary. These discussions are then fed back to the rest of school through classroom discussions, assemblies and the School Council noticeboard which is situated by our school library.
Miss Wilson also shares many of the issues raised with the teachers in staff meetings.
If you are a pupil at Borough Green Primary, don't forget that you can put forward your suggestions about how to improve our school in a number of ways:-
- Speak to a School Council representative and they will jot your comments down in their 'Council Comments' log book which they will then take to the next meeting.
- Write down your idea on a slip of paper and post it into the 'Suggestions Envelope' which can be found on the School Council noticeboard.
