Welcome to the Year 5 & 6 Home Learning for the week beginning 11^th January.

Well done on last week’s learning – you have made a great start to this fascinating topic and there is loads left to explore and learn. 

We hope that our daily Zoom check-ins will help us to all still feel connected, and as your teachers, we certainly look forward to seeing you every morning. Please do keep sending us your completed work too; we will reply as soon as we can (sometimes this may not be on the day you sent it as we are still teaching children in school, preparing work and running live learning sessions).  We love to see your progress and ideas so are really enjoying seeing what you are producing.  Remember to keep a copy of all the work that you do at home so that you can share it with your classmates when we are all back in school.

Last week, we journeyed along the Pacific Coast and you saw amazing vistas, views and even some playful seals.  This week, we travel inland to one of the most amazing national parks of America, Death Valley. Is it as deadly as its name suggests? What surprises will we find?
