On Friday 30th September we opened our classrooms as tea rooms and hosted tea parties to raise money for the MacMillan charity. The children had great fun planning and preparing for the opening of the tea rooms. They designed invitations, menus and bunting. The children made some wonderful cakes at home and practised their weighing skills. Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and children for making such fabulous cakes (and so many) . Watch out Great British Bake Off!! The children also made sandwiches in school and learnt how to write instructions. The tea parties were a great success. We raised an astonishing £421.29 for Macmillan! This was only achieved through a huge amount of hard work from everybody and your amazing generosity. Once again many thanks.
